Marble, its all the rage. Backsplashes, islands, countertops are all ways we've traditionally seen marble used in the past. Here we explore a few fresh ways to start incorporating marble veneer into your next kitchen design.
1. The Marble Hood Fan
This is one of my favourite new looks for 2018. Because Prima Stone Marble Veneer is so lightweight, cladding a hood fan is a dream to install and it really elevates the luxury look of your kitchen.
We love how in this kitchen the designer chose to clad the countertops, backsplash and hood-fan in matching marble for a modern farmhouse styled kitchen. Design by Leanne Ford Interiors for HGTV.
Here we see a more classic styled kitchen, but again with matching counter, backsplash and hood-fan! Don't you just love how the black cabinets contrast with the white marble? Image via Decorpad.
2. The Marble Floating Shelf.
Open shelving in the kitchen has been on trend for quite a few seasons, but something new we are seeing is the floating marble shelf in kitchens. What do you think? Is this a trend you could embrace 2018?

3. The Marble Cabinet Face.
Marble Cabinet Facing is something really new we've just started to see the last year or two. We think this is a stunning way to incorporate marble into your kitchen.

4. The Backlit Marble Island Base.
Prima Stone Marble Veneer is perfect for backlighting and we carry a few marble and onyx products that are translucent. If you love the look of backlit stone but are perhaps hesitant to incorporate into a countertop, you may want to consider a backlit island base. The marble shown below is Zulio.
5. The Marble Kitchen Table
Designing an eat-in kitchen? Why not carry the backsplash marble over to the eating area?
We love how Laura Butler Madden has matched a low marble backsplash with the countertops an extra large kitchen island that does double duty as an eat in dinning space.
We love how the base of the table as well as the top is clad in marble.
